India - Calcutta (Kolkata) birth in 1929

This is the first time I've looked for birth records in India, so I'm a bit lost. I was thinking I'd have to go to the British Library to get the birth record below :

First names : Maria Theresa Olga
Surname : Martins
Year Of Birth : 1929
Place of birth : Calcutta, Bow Bazar, St Francis Xavier, Bengal, India

However, I just realised that Findmypast seems to have it. Can someone tell me if a subscription would give me access to the whole record or do they in any case only have the indexes ?

I tried looking at the British Library India Office website, but cannot seem to figure out how to order a birth certificate from them!

If it is no trouble for you to look at the microfilm, Dawn, any info or photo would be terrific. I don't need anything for legal purposes. I'm just looking into someone's family tree for them and this appears to be his mother's birth record, based on the information he gave me. I keep hoping to get to London, but have yet to make it there and somehow trying to find my way through the meanders of the British Library seems like a daunting prospect! Perhaps it's not so bad when you get there.

Sorry, I just realized that FindMyPast has her as Marie Terese Olga Martins rather than Maria Theresa Olga Martins.

Could be a poor transcription because of poor handwriting.

While waiting to see if Dawn (or hopefully myself at some point!) can get to the British library, I wonder if anyone would have the possibility to provide me with whatever details are available for the marriage of Francis Xavier Martins to Magdalene Veronica Austen Lewis on 20 June 1928 in Calcutta, Bengal, India.

These are, I think, the parents of Maria Theresa Olga Martins and it seems possible that the record in question might contain some details given the year of the marriage.

I'm especially struggling to identify Magdalene's mother, who is only listed as "Rose Marian" on her baptism record on familysearch. In fact, I spent several hours on a wild goose chase last Saturday, thinking I had the right person but who turned out to have died shortly after birth.
