I echo ShaunJ's "Ah".  I also add an apology..  The difference I now see between the register that doesn't show her and the register that does is that the former, which I was looking at, was Division I, the one cited by Archivist is Division III, both same polling district and ward same year.

Memo to self - must learn a bit more about the structure of electoral registers. (anyone care to give a quick lesson?).

Seems to me you now have her pretty well buttoned up now Archivist?

I don't know when the format changed but 1912/1913 are in 3 parts:

If you look at the link Shaun gives

Men who could vote in Parliamentary and County elections (image 104

Lodgers (image 158 of 260 on the link)

and women who could only vote in county & parochial elections (image 175 of 260 on the link)

Ancestry's holding for 1913 is not complete which is why she isn't listed when you search for her

Thank you madam very much indeed, that's most helpful, just the clarification I needed.  On reflection, I now recall, after coming a cropper some time ago on the layout of electoral registers, resolving to put them on my barge pole list along with Welsh surnames and old German script.  Should have stuck to my resolution perhaps but then I wouldn't have learned something new!
Thanks again.

London Electoral Registers 1847 - 1913
No 6280 Smith, Harriett Cherrie.
I suspect she rented this flat temporarily while she sorted out her financial affairs. Her will was proved in London if that means anything.

Is the building still in existence. There seems to be a Road or Drive difference.
