Thomas Wyatt married Elizabeth Mellor at St Mary Cheadle 22 June 1856.
Thomas was 21 a bachelor and machine printer, Father James also a machine printer
Elizabeth was 21 and a spinster, Father William Mellor a collier.
Thomas signed the register and Elizabeth made her mark.
Mary Berry and Thomas Berry witnessed and both give Edgeley for residence.

Thank you rolnora
I think that clinches it for me.

I expected them both born 1837 so the marriage record might be indicating they were of full age.

Despite a memorial Glossop Cemetery , I doubt they were related to my Wyatt family who lived at Blackshaw farm Glossop.

I don't think I would rule them out.
They may have fibbed about their age.
The residence of Edgeley might only indicate that they were resident in the parish for the three weeks prior to the marriage whilst banns called.
Cprd have the transcript but for some reason I can't find the marriage on FindMyPast

I appreciate your help rolnora.
I have not completely ruled them out.
I am still to determine where my Wyatts from Blackshaw Farm Glossop originated.
