John Worthington Roberts b1868
« on: Tuesday 10 May 16 18:13 BST (UK) »
When John Worthington Roberts married Annie Painter at St Mary, Wolverhampton in 1889 his Rank or Profession was stated as Millband Maker.  His father Benjamin Roberts was also called a Millband Maker.

I must admit this has stumped me.  Can anyone describe to me what this occupation was?

Thanks in anticipation.

Personal guess would be that he made the belts/bands that were used to turn the machinery in the mills.
