Hi Jaidan,

John Pierce 1841 died 25.4.1889 at sea, between Rangoon and Ceylon, aboard tea clipper "Glanpadarn", he was a steward; his son William 1875 was also aboard this clipper, on his first voyage, he too died 25.4.1889.  This info was kindly given me from an Anc. tree 'Montgomery'.

John and Janet had three other children:-
Kate Anne 1873-1908.
Robert William 1878-1959.
Elizabeth Jane 1879-1952.

Re Janet Pierce nee Williams, I have info on her family/ancestry if you are interested.

Hi,

that would be great, however something is not adding up further down the line so I'm trying to solve that puzzle at present, not currently sure that my gg grandfather was Robert Pierce after all as the area and the children are just off somehow. but the what i have found so far is truly amazing and would love to know more once this is worked out. :)
