1911 census has all the same family members no extra children

found under Mc\diamond  as you said but think its a mistranscription ;handwriting not too clear

Archibald is aged 41 sarah 40
and children all still at home so this family did stay in Cambuslang after all .(until the later emigrations of george mary and andrew to NZ)

i found a possible death for Sarah the daughter aged26 in 1917

so it's just Elizabeth who i dont know what happened to after marriage maybe need to try some more wild cards there for her death ;her husbandAndrew MacDermid death in 1964 didn't put him as a widower + I've not found the connection with the J.McDiarmid of Borge Crescent who was the informant

Information from Genes Reunited

George mcdiarmid  and his wife Margaret went to new Zealand in1972

His sis Mary Stewart McDiarmid Carmichael and her family also lived there

The brother Andrew is on a ship with wife from NZ to GB in 1960

If Sarah is the one who died in 1918.

Elizabeth was probably still alive in 1964 I've just looked at her husbands death record and he is listed as married to Elizabeth McDiarmid and the intimate friend who registered death does not have a clear initial but it is definitely a McDiarmid ; I havent found any children for them yet
both families followed the naming traditions closely so I would expect a Malcolm .Archibald and Andrew as first 3 sons and Sarah ,jean elizabeth as daughter names with middle names of Andrews or Kyle

SP has a death in 1970 of Elizabeth in cumbuslang the age is 64 which is 10 years out no image available and it costs 12 pounds to order but fairly sure it is her as both spellings give vthat record

Have been informed there is a1953 ship record of MR A and Mrs S McDiarmid aged 83 and82 coming back from NZ destination Derbyshire.

Looks like Archibald and Sarah had joined or visited their children in New Zealand

Re illegible initial

Ive now seen Archibald's death cert same informant j.McDiarmid is his nephew

From 1930 valuation rolls I know it is james McDiarmid at 65 Borgie crescent so now know family connection !

Archibald's usual address is given as 8 mill road cumbuslang
