Hi again,
I am still on the search for some missing links in the family line. I am trying to find the links between Rev Hugh Anderson b. about 1633 d. 1704 and Married to Grizel Row (His father was Rev Gilbert Anderson  of Udol {Udale}b. 1597) and Alexander Anderson of Udale d.1809. Alexander had 6 daughters and 1 son - William Henry Anderson.
I believe Hugh b.1633 had a son - Alexander b 1672 who married Elizabeth Trent. I found an entry that said  issue of Alexander and Elizabeth "Hugh of Umbridge Castle, served heir 8th Jan. 1751".
I cannot find any reference of an 'Umbridge Castle'. Can anyone shed some light of any of these Andersons? I would be most gratetful.

 Hello all the only snippet I could find John Anderson was the son of Hugh Anderson of Udall
  his apprentiship was booked 1684 [ Goldsmith]
