I am researching HOOD of Selby County of York.

However, I recently came across papers relating to TODD of Selby, West Riding, County of York and elsewhere and purchased them. I've summarised a couple of the 100 year old plus, items below, for family history purposes only.

Extracts of the Will of William Todd of Hambleton, proved 18 November 1839, Farmer and Maltster.

Letter dated 3 July 1903, ref John Todd deceased, referring to John Todd late of Birkin House in the West Riding of the County of York who died on the 8th day of October 1896 according to the letter.
Abbreviated:-
Three dwelling houses in Ousegate, Selby occupied by:-
Miss Todd;
George Gray;
Edward Dean.

Maltkiln and Cottage situate in or near Ousegate aforesaid occupied by Middlebrough & Son.

A Brewhouse situate in or near Ousegate aforesaid.
Cellars belonging to the Brewery in the occupation of Messrs. Young & Company.

A close of lane situate in Cow Lane, Selby, containing 10 acres occupied by Michael McGuinness. [sic.]

Copyhold
A close of arable land situate at Hambleton in the County of York ... occupied by Robert Turner.

A close of arable land situate at Hillam ... in the occupation of deceased.

[Sadly, no plans]

Although, there are two unattached undated Plans
i) hand drawn, ii) Tracing for part of "Cow Lane or Flaxley Road" and part of Cockret Lane.
