Elusive children of Thomas Gibbs South Australia

My 2xgr.grandfather Thomas Gibbs married for the second time to Mary Ann Irving in Adelaide
in 1855.  Her name is variously written Irving/Irwin/Evering.  This lady's obituary published in
the Narracoorte Herald on 1/2/1927 stated that there were 12 children from this marriage, 6
daughters and 6 sons.   I am trying to establish the names and birth years of these children.

Other Gibbs family researchers have located 10 children, 5 daughters and 5 sons.
Sarah Ann b. 1855; Samuel 1858; William 1859; John 1860; Harriet 1863; Mary 1865;
George 1868; Helena/Selina 1869; Isaac 1871; and Charlotte 1873.

On checking the South Aust. BDM index I could not find an entry for Sarah but did find a birth
for a daughter Anne born 1855 to this couple.   A birth date for Sarah is recorded as
30th Dec. 1855 by most family researchers.  However, I am wondering if this was in fact the birth
date for Anne?  Would anyone have access to records which would give a birth date for Anne Gibbs
please?

Thomas Gibbs did not register the births of  any of his children born in South Australia from
his first marriage (4 children) so it would not be surprising if he neglected to register the birth
of Sarah.  The marriage notice of Sarah to William Woods 19.3.1877 stated that she was the
fifth daughter of Thomas Gibbs of Kingston (Border Watch, Mt.Gambier, 24/3/1877, Trove).
There were 3 daughters from the first marriage so I am attempting to find the fourth daughter.
I am hoping that Anne, born 1855 is the fourth daughter.

   This seems to be the death of Sarah WOODS in 1909 when she is reported to be  aged 50 (so born 1859 ...?)

Anne Gibbs was born 30th Dec 1855, birthplace and residence not recorded.

Including Anne, there are 9 Gibbs children registered in the SA Birth Index to this couple: Anne 1855, Samuel 1858, William 1859, John 1860, Harriet 1863, Mary 1865, Helena 1869, Isaac 1871, Charlotte 1873.

                     Are there any further records e.g. death, marriage, for Anne? Have
                     checked the BDM index and Familysearch without result.

There is no other likely marriage for Anne/Ann Gibbs, except for the Sarah Ann one in 1877 that you already have.

George's birth might not have been registered but his death was.

BISA says there were twelve children, but only mentions seven by name, then states "5 children". Maybe to reconcile with the obit, which might not be correct.

Oh and just as a matter of interest, Mary Gibbs married my great grandmother's brother, Richard HOCKING.
