1861 Census look up help
« on: Saturday 21 May 16 17:01 BST (UK) »
I cannot find my ancestor on this census. John PETTS born 17th May 1851 Wadhurst which has been in Sussex and Kent depending on what you are looking at.  His parent were George PETTS and Martha HODGEKIN.

Any help finding this family would be great, I have them on the 1871 and Martha on the 1881 as a widow, ans John with his wife Jane on the 1881.

It is just the 1861 I cannot find  :-\

Thank you in advance  :)

There is a John Pettit, born 1852 in Battle Sussex, in 1861 mother Martha, also in household are Thomas, Ann and James.

From Familysearch, no more details on there

Thanks for the help given now realise they must have just disappeared  :-\ Nothing else for it but I will keep checking every so often.  You know how things are initially done wrong. I hope I will find them the next time I look.  :P
