Charles Goddard was a miller at London Road in the 1891 census.

The Dorking and Leatherhead Advertiser of 5 April 1890 reports a case of theft: Lionel Goddard was in court for stealing money from his father Charles who was employed at Pippbrook Mill (case not pressed).
