Diamond Wedding Anniversary

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me here. I am looking for a newspaper entry for a Scunthorpe couple who celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary back in 2009. I have looked through the Scunthorpe Telegraph (which I believe is where I found it) all to no avail. I'm not sure if it has been archived, if it's in another newspaper or if I'm just simply not looking hard enough. One thing I can tell you is that the husband was Ernest Geddes, known as Ernie. He passed away in 2012. His wife is still living so I cannot disclose her name.

Does anyone know of any newspapers/archives that I would be able to search through?

That hadn't occurred to me for some reason! I'm not from the Lincolnshire area so I'm afraid I'm not familiar with any place that holds archives, but I will give it a shot.
