Sarah's children.
« on: Tuesday 24 May 16 18:09 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

just wondering if you folks would kindly look into 3 children of my maternal 4x great grandmother,
i'm decended from one of her children the youngest born 24/7/1808 Joseph Tippey,
Sarah had 3 other children all elligitimate:

Mary Tippey. Born Hunsingore 19/11/1792. { did she marry and have children }

Sarah Atkinson. Born 15/3/1795. Same for Sarah, also wonder if she married.

John Tippey. Born Roecliffe. 10/7/1798. i know he married but dont know who to.

Got to wonder if Sarah Atkinson Sarah's second child is a clue to all children's father ???
i dont think Sarah the mother ever married but she seems to have lived in Roecliffe all
of her life.

Any help much appreciated, all the best.
Derek ;)

John Tippey son 9 scholar Killinghall
Thomas Tippey 7     "            "
Mary E Tippey dau   5  scholar   born Killinghall.

William Tippey born 1834 near scrotton, apprenticed to William Richardson, master carpenter of Providence House.
William was buried near to door of Killinghall church.

Is this William Tippey mentioned above the same William Tippey born to parents:
John & Elizabeth Tippey { nee Bramley } married 1833, Knaresborough, thier William can be found on 1851 census stating he was an appretice joiner, he married Elizabeth Leake.

If this William Tippey is my relative were does place of birth Farnham come from, every thing accept place of birth tells me its my William Tippey.

Would it be possible for a look up on William Tippey who married Elizabeth Leake in 1860
at All Saints, Ripley and any children they had.

Also in 1883 William Tippey re-married Matilda Murphy as 1st wife Elizabeth had died.
i'm trying to see if the William & Elizabeth Tippey and 5 children are or at least William same
as William Tippey born to John & Elizabeth Tippey { above }

Hi keyboard86, yes you have the right family, its the son William Tippey i'm wanting to know about,
seesm the family stayed in same area for some time.
The 1851 census states William was an apprentice joiner.
then 1860 he married Elizabeth Leake, are the family recorded for 1871-1881, hoping those will show they had 4-5 children.
It would be nice to know that its same William Tippey buried near to door of Killinghall church.

Thanks again for reply.
All the best.
