Hannah Hurlston of Shropshire cira 1816 - 1846
« on: Wednesday 25 May 16 12:59 BST (UK) »
My abovenamed g/grandmother married John Davies at Benthall Shropshire on 15/9/1838.
Her father is stated as being Thomas Hurlston of Shropshire.
I've search high and low through 'find my past' but I can't find a birth record of Hannah nor any trace of her mother or other family members.
Can you help.
Ken

Have you found her in later censuses after her marriage to find when and where she was born?

When/where was your grandparent (their child) born? That will help find the right John/Hannah Davies family on the censuses, as I see there are several in Shropshire alone.
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Hi I see that John Davies was a Bricklayer at marriage, so is he the John aged 43 with a Hannah 34 both born Ellesmere in 1851?
Census ref HO107/1994/257/47
Otherwise the c 1816 birth if not this possible, I do not know how you know?
