Many thanks again for the research results.  John's daughter married my great great grandfather and lived in Nailsea Somerset.  Nailsea use to have a coal exchange. Name spellings or misspellings are interesting.  We couldn't find a Welsh ancestor called Jemima on freebmd, until we realised it was spelt with a double m (Jemmima)!
