« on: Sunday 29 May 16 21:49 BST (UK) »
I have her marriage to Thomas Pratt 20 May 1766 in Romford from the parish registers.

Does Ann of Thomas and Ann Angell 1746 Romford sound too far removed?

What church does the baptism appear, in Romford covered a large area up to the middles 1900's

It was Romford parish, not district. Think it was st Edward.

I have the surnames Anger and Angell interused in parish registers in northern Berkshire over numerous generations so would say its quite possible if you can't eliminate the Ann Angel or Ann Ainger with other marriages or burials.

Thanks. It's the only one I can find. Will check marriage and deaths.

I live in Havering of which Romford is the main place, the library holds a lot of records of this church I will have a look, that's when the FH section is open, it's been decimated by the cutbacks.

That's kind of you jolee. I have a sub to Essex records online. I just can't seem to find it, unless it is the Ann Angell?

Hi
Just returned from Romford, I could find no trace of Ann, I looked in the surrounding area's of Upminster, Hornchurch, Rainham, Wennington and Ockendon but no luck with either spelling, I was wondering if she came from the Dagenham area I am going to the Barking archives this week so I will give it a go.

What I did find I have posted underneath may or may not be your Pratt family or you may already have it.

ALTER TOMB SOUTH WEST IF THE ST EDWARD'S CHURCHYARD.
In memory of Mrs Sarah Pratt wife of Thomas Pratt a baker, who died 12th. August 1712 aged 74 and who lies buried in thus vault
Also Thomas of the above mentioned who died  02nd September 1744 aged 57

Also here lies the body Mr Perkins Church who died 12th December 1748 aged 46
Also Mrs Sarah Church relict of the late Mr Prkins Church who died 27th. November 1756 aged 40.

No sign of Thomas husband of the first Mrs Pratt, the archiver said that the burials of Perkins and Sarah Church could only mean that one of them was closely related as this is a family vault.
