James Massey

I am searching for more information on James Massey who lived on the West Coast of New Zealand with Edward & Jane(Jeanie) Graham & he died 1949. He was related to Edward & he was born in Scotland. I would like information of where & when he was born & the name of his wife for our family tree. Not sure if this should be in NZ or Scotland section? If anyone can throw any light I'd be grateful.

Yes, think it's probably the one who died aged 52 yrs but want info on his immigration to NZ & marriage details.

I should have added that my post above referred to a Intestate probate. This suggests that James Brown MASSEY might not have married.

Do you have his death certificate, Hayjood? Can you provide us with a transcription? Does it mention a marriage, or any surviving children?

Alfred James MASSEY seems to have lived in Gisborne, he married there in 1895 and later divorced. He was a music teacher.
