Missing Catherine Glynn
« on: Tuesday 31 May 16 12:48 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am looking for a girl who emigrated to Australia in 1853 Her name is recorded as Catherine Glynn from Clare, she came on the Credenda. Aged 18 (1853)
Her marriage certificate in Australia (1854) says Gort, Ireland. Aged 22
Are there any parish records available online that would be helpful. I have been trawling the LDS records for 2 nights with no success. The other anomaly is that on the wedding certificate is that she signed her name as Catherine Kennedy and then crossed it out and added Glynn. She cites her Father as Patrick Glynn and her mother Bridget Parker.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you

Julie

http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0623  but don't cover the years you want!
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.
