Neligan's of Tralee and Ardfert/Ballymullen
« on: Wednesday 01 June 16 12:23 BST (UK) »
My daughters ancestors are the Neligan's and although not my blood relations, I'm interested. Honora Neligan born 1854 married an English soldier at Ballymullen barracks (I have the marriage record) and became Honora Durden, she moved to Northampton in England where I have the tree to the present day. I'm interested in her parents (Maurice and Margaret Neligan nee Sullivan) and siblings, if anyone shares this family.

Hi
There is an online site,
registers.nli.ie/
Look for Kerry, then Tralee. Use the filter help.
Just to help you out with some of the names.
Patrick 25 Jan 1853
Maria 9th Aug 1856
David 19th Jul 1858
Then check the marriages.

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

That's definitely Maurice and Margaret's marriage; I just cant get back any further on either side. Without parents names Im not sure I will. Thankyou for the links.
