Yes, I agree about being thankful I've only got 2 ships to sort out.  Thanks to some further searching the British Newspaper Archives I have been able to track the ship (owned by Carter and Son) from London to Dublin and to Hobart so I now know for sure.  Thanks again, especially to Seaweed :-)

Martin Luther, 1341 ton, Captain Kenny. South Australia to Liverpool, approx 8 July 1852.

Thanks for that info Jamjar.  That refers to the other of the Martin Luther's that was travelling to Australia which caused my confusion in the first place.  i think it's all sorted now.
