Millicent Rebecca J Palgrave & William Guthrie

Hi all,

  I am researching a tree where the a man's parents are Millicent Rebecca J Palgrave (1882-1969) and William Guthrie. They were married in 1909 in Newcastle upon Tyne, and a search of findmypast showed that after 1911, they had 2 sons. However in order to see if they had  any sons between 1909 and 1911 I was going to look at the 1911 census, but I can't find a single thing on them. No census, no birth records for Millicent, no definite death or birth record found for William, nothing on the 1939 electoral roll. I've hit a brick wall. Could anyone find a record for them?

I've just found another son of Millicent and William, and "Edgar Palgrave Guthrie" b. 1910

I'd suggest you have a look then for Edgar Guthrie in 1911 as he may lead you to a parent.

We can't give 1911 census info on here.

William and Anna/Annie Palgrave of Rollesby, Norfolk, who were in Newcastle by 1901, appear in 1891 & 1901 with a daughter "Bidney" of the right age.  You may find it fruitful to look for William & Anna in 1911.

Bidney Rebecca P JAY - birth reg in Flegg, Mar qtr 1882.

Marriage shortly thereafter of William PALGRAVE to Anna JAY, Jun qtr 1882 Flegg.

If you follow William Palgrave 1858/9 back in Census his Parents are RICHARD/ELIZABETH
1861 they are under Salyards!
