Any idea what the L stands for - have you got her on previous census?

There's a Kate Louisa ** registered Sep 1860 Gravesend or if the year was out a

Kate Williams registered Jun 1861 Ticehurst but that's the closest I can see 

** Kate L daughter of George and Elizabeth if that helps rule her in or out.

I cannot even see Kathleen L in 1939 (but that frequently happens to me)
