« on: Tuesday 07 June 16 02:14 BST (UK) »
I have a reference to a Euphemia Norton being born about 1877 with the reference tending towards Haswell, Durham.
Please can I ask if anyone has any references relating to this Euphemia?

I'm not seeing any references at all?

Can you tell us where you obtained her name and age?

As KGarrad says to get any help with requests such as this it is advisable to give all the information you have.

Is she not a part of your family tree?

Who did she marry?
How does she link in to your family?

Haswell was a village in ancient Easington parish, and then a parish in it's own right, and any births would have been recorded under Easington Registration District.

Norton births in Easington Reg. District, 1871-1881, (from FreeBMD):
Rebecca 1874
William 1876
William 1878
Hamilton Arthur 1878
Edith Jane 1879
Lilian Frances 1881
Mary 1881

Hi Norman,
There must be some context for this. I am sure your elderly relative hasn't just made the name up without a reason.
There is a Norton family in Haswell. Is that the connection?
