Why are you unable to progress this yourself using Scotlands People for information re BMD's?

Children were all born after 1855 so mothers name and maiden name will be shown on birth certs

Have you not looked for a death cert for Alexander to establish his parents names?

Have you checked Family Search for any available info?

Have you checked censuses?

Surprised that the place of birth differed from my files but pleased to see that Robert's mother's name was Janet as that was the name of Robert's second daughter.

On a whim, I have decided to find out a bit more about this small twig sized branch of my tree.

Hi,
Bullions is an interesting old name. My great granny was named after her grandmother Margaret Bullions. I'll have a look through that side of my tree and let you know if I find any links.

Haven't had a chance to check through all the Bullions yet (there are not very many). My Margaret Bullions was aged 4 in the family at Methven in 1841. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Allan and James Bullions, son of Elizabeth Gregor and Alexander Bullions. The family were still at Methven in 1851 (Scotland's Family has them wrongly indexed as Bullious)
