Margaret Elizabeth Murphy married a John Joseph Barnes,he died and she then married Charles Elson.
When they had children could find none with Elson  mother Barnes connection for those years but could for Elson  mother Murphy. In Crewe Cheshire
Can that be done change your name after marriage and revert to maiden name when children are registered. In Crewe Cheshire.

The Registration asks for the mother's maiden name - which is Murphy! ;D

The maiden name is the one you are born with,no matter how many times you marry, your maiden name stays the same,so any children you have will always show your original birth name.

1912 sep qtr Margaret E Murphy married Joseph Barnes in Newcastle upon Tyne -there are 3 children born in Newcastle upon Tyne 1913 / 1915 /1919( june qtr) named Barnes - mothers maiden name Murphy
........................................................................
the second marriage was in Newcastle upon Tyne 1922 and their 2 children were registered in Newcastle upon Tyne - I don't see the connection with Crewe , Cheshire ??..
mar qtr for second marriage and June qtr for the firstborn .
so Margaret had 5 children - is that correct ?
so Joseph Barnes died between dec qtr 1918 and mar 1922
do you have his death date ? I can only see one - june qtr 1921 - but he is 60 years of age ?

mentioned in the record of Josep Barnes and Marjaritiem Uirycidutrim Murphy

Spouse's Name   Marjaritiem Uirycidutrim Murphy
Event Date   21 Sep 1912
Event Place   Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England

Is it a transcription?

It looks as though it could be just badly transcribed or poor Latin  ;)
