Argyle Terrace Londonderry/Derry
« on: Friday 10 June 16 22:21 BST (UK) »
Hi
Can anyone please tell me how old Argyle Terrace Rosemount Derry is.
And were most of the streets around there built at the same time.
Regards argyle

Certainly late 1800's. Argyle terrace, Glasgow  terrace etc were called because of the Scottish ship workers working in the city at the time. I grew up in one of them and ashamed to say I don't  know the exact  date.

You can check the Valuation Revision Books on PRONI's website to see when the houses appear in the valuations which will give a very good indication of their age.
