Well I am from Ravensbourne so I know the steeper parts of Signal Hill very well. Once a year Ravensbourne RFC bused down to Milton to play a pre season game against Toko. But all that was a long time ago.

Signal - thanks very much for the follow up!  I do indeed have a copy of that Obit and yes it's a "cracker"! 

I was also excited to discover today that there are photos of both Thomas and Isabella which I can obtain through the Otago Settlers Museum. 

Thanks to previous help here .. I have obtained a copy of Thomas' Death Cert and asked NZBDM to correct the name transcription error for future researchers.
