Well my father is from Clifton and he has been tracing the family and he believes that its James Ashwell b1796 Langford married Mary crowther in biggleswade 30 Oct 1815. Son of James Ashwell and Sarah Harris.  Dad has been doing a great job but seems to have hit a wall at the moment.  Thanks for the help.

I'll disagree with most people but I wouldn't argue with your Dad's conclusion about James Ashwell. What's his brick wall?
