There is no death listed on Scotlandspeople for a "W Hermitage" born in 1894 - do you know for sure he died in Scotland?

Hmmm I was sure he did, I know they moved to Scotland as that's what we were always told and it's where his son was who had the same name, he must of died before then then.

This makes me more confused! I guess if they came back from Ireland they could of been in that area, but thought they'd been in Scotland before then. Odd.

Perhaps he was living in Scotland but visiting someone in Coventry where he died. The only way to clarify that it is the correct person would be to purchase the death cert.

Do you have his wife's death?

The only death in Scotland for William Henry Hermitage  - 1968, Rosskeen, age 48. I presume this is William's son.

I have checked for other births c. 1894 for the name William Henry Hermitage, there was only one result in Kensington.

I don't have one for his wife either she was next on my list! I had a date of 1966 for his son? Could be him I believe he was born 1919? I know William senior was in London in 1939 I assume for the war and staying with his sister.
