You may have problems finding some online church records for Oxfordshire as I think familysearch (Church of the Latter Day Saints) were refused permission to film them.  I believe someone now has the contract to digitise them.

Burial from same source.

3 Nov 1844 - Thomas Wixon, aged 28 of Kingston. @ Aston Rowant.

EDIT: Thomas Wixon was baptised 8th Oct 1815 @ Aston Rowant,  Son of Richard & Elizabeth Wixon, of Kingston.

If you have further problems going further back, you may need to consider the surname of RIXON.

Family search is very limited for Oxfordshire PR's.
