Hi. I am new to RootsChat and this is my first post.
I am trying to find any information about my aunt, Mary Smith who was born in Westown, Tramore, Co. Waterford on the 28th. November 1903. She was one of a family of 10.
Her father's name was Michael Smith and her mother's name was Johanna (Power) Smith.
The only thing I know about Mary was that she married an Englishman whose christian name was George but I don't have his surname. I don't know whether she got married in Ireland or England and to my knowledge they had no family.
I was told by my father, also Michael Smith, just before he died that his sister Mary had been buried in Tramore Churchyard opposite the main doors of the Church but without her marriage name it is not possible to locate the grave or find any information.
I would appreciate if anyone can help me with any information regarding my aunt Mary Smith please as I am trying to carry out my father's wishes to have her grave found and marked. Thanks.

Would you know which Church doors?

The Protestant or Catholic doors?  :-))

Hi. Thanks for your replies. The families linked by Hallmark are related but not the correct family.
The Church was the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Tramore.
The family linked by Gaffey is our family and is correct. The only thing incorrect in this census is that there was a daughter Alice, born 1901 missing. (Maybe she wasn't in the house.)
Mary Smith that I am trying to find information about was the daughter and Michael Smith a son was my father.
I would appreciate any further information regarding that link and who Mary married.
Thanks. Fenor.

Seems strange that Michael Smith should be the son in law of Patrick Kirwan
Patrick is aged 40 in 1901

and 73 in 1911 with grandaughter Alice Smith

obviously upped their age as old age pension had just come about
