Hi Jamjar,

I have today been advised by a family member that he was born in 1918 and died in 1941.  The info you have provided looks correct.  The person who provided this information is obtaining his military record and has been told that the processing time is around 90 days!!! (This seems a long time to process an application for a military record).

I have been unable to locate in the online NSW BDM index as births only go up to 1916.  I do not know if he married.  The family member knows very little about James George Walker.

Yes this will be him.

Harold's parents were Samuel and Elizabeth Matilda Walker nee Parsons so the 1963 death is correct.

Thanks Jamjar for your postings.
I have reviewed the links to the newspaper death notices for Elizabeth Walker nee Pepper and William Walker.  From my research to date these are not Samuel's parents.

Samuel's parents were William Walker who died in Auckland, New Zealand in 1894 and Ellen Walker who died in Sydney in 1890.  Ellen is buried in Rookwood cemetery.  This is based on the information on Ellen and Samuel's death registrations.

Thanks again.

Hi My name is Michael John Munro. I have a sister (*), our father was William John Wright Munro. Dad had a older Brother (*).
Our grand(*) mother was Irene Claire Munro, Grandfather Walter James Wright. Aunty Elizabeth has a daughter , who has keep the Munro family history as well as photographs.
Last time I saw Joan was at my father funeral.
We used to have a tight knit family when Irene & Elizabeth were alive.
But sadly they were the glue which held us together, and when they passed away, we all slowly scattered
