Richard South

looking for a Richard South b. abt 1803 in England, wife Elizabeth b. abt 1810 in England. they married there about 1828, and had a son Matthew there b. in 1829. I find in the IGI;

this is the only Matthew South I've been able to find. are these two Matthew's one and the same?

by 1838 the family is in Onondaga Co., New York, USA.

 this is the only Richard South m. to Elizabeth in the IGI. I don't know if it's them or not.   

Matthew is missing by 1850. I don't know if he married or died, but I can't find him anywhere in the US census.
