Killeshandra   http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0838  and surrounding Parishes via map

You are extremely lucky as Killeshanra is one of the very few places where 1841 Census survives..

I got very excited when I received reply, but when calculating the age of Denis Reilly's son here in Australia it's not the Denis I'm looking for unless it's our Daniel Reilly's brother?  I have tried in vain to look at the http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/083 but have never come up with a Denis Reilly who's son was a Daniel born abt 1858 as yet...
Daniel Reilly arrives here in Australia at the age of 21 in 1879, all we have is that Daniel's father was Denis and came from Ireland! So have been going through the Griffiths to try and see if I can come up with the real Denis Reilly it's a brick wall.. There is the idea that he came from Cavan, on one of the well know familytrees online, but they have no proof they have Denis father of Daniel b. abt 1835 and d. abt 1900's
If u have any clues to help would be greatful. ???

Many Thanks,

Fran

Too many O'Reilly/Reillys around so without location you could get all of them and not know which is yours.

My kin in Oz were easy to locate because of the names they gave to their property... plus other records after that.

Did you search 1901 Census for father?
