Hi

I am researching my husband's ancestry and want to make sure I am on the right path. His grandfathers are:
George Raynor bn 1880
Gt. Thomas Raynor bn 1859
Gtx2 William Raynor bn 1824
Gtx3 William Bowles Raynor bn 1803 - I want to ensure that I am tracing the correct ancestry.

So, could I ask if you have traced this person and is W B Raynor the illegitimate son of Catherine Raynor nee Frost?

If it is correct - I wondered where the 'Bowles' name originated from?

Would welcome some clarification.

Bridget
