hello
after finding the info on my aunt I,m now looking for her brother John
I never meet him  as a child  only heard mum talk of him . he was older then her
in the army I think . they live in Wantage
dad was also John , mum was Mary ( nee smith )

hello thanks for your reply.
John/Mary are his mum and dad I have there Marriage cert .1912
I,m trying to find their son John think he`s their first child they had four more
after him ...3 girls 1912/1913/1914 then a boy 1922
but now looking at the dates of the girls and the time laps between the last girl and their last son maybe he was later ?
my mum never spoke of her family much but we did meet her sisters and  one brother a  few times over the years.. but not John who I,m looking for if that's any help

Freebmd has an Albert J Scrivener mmn Smith registered in Wantage June quarter 1920,  could he be Albert John.

thank you so much a bit more put into our tree ..wish Mum would have given me details ..
she had not seem him for many many years  last she ever said about him was he was a driver in the army may have been in stationed in Colchester

as he was in the army so mum said
so sad she never found him , wonder if he was married and children
she pass away in 2009 ..at 95

Hi again, yes this does appear to be a likely marriage. Yvonne Joan Scrivener born 10th February 1927 died May 1994 Chelmsford aged 67 possible Scrivener/Carter children 1949/53/63
