I've been thinking for some hours that the wife's name must be incorrect, so that Mayo one looks good to me. At least worth following up.
Mayo, Sligo easy to mix up.

With an inquest and paper work to delay things I'd say this is the Mayo Edward's death
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FTR9-K3D age has shifted a bit but I'm fairly sure if there is an inquest the coroner's office registers the death which could explain the difference.

Not sure you are still looking for information but just in case...

Edward Graham, married, age 42, died 1955 "motor accident" (more details on death certificate-

No other Graham death around that date in Castlebar district.
