i have searched the Callan microfilm as best i can and cant find a birth for either of them nor anybody with a father Michael Murray or Christopher Reilly no mothers names recorded just wondering could someone else find them in Kilkenny else where.

All one can do is look at http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0973  and surrounding parishes
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.

I noticed a couple of births -Mary Murry, 1835, residence is M.Street and Cale (Cate?) Murry, 1840 with parents Michael and Catherine Coughlan.

Here is the marriage (1834) for that couple and the residence is Mill Street.

Excellent Heywood never thought of going back that far to 1830s though it is not proof yet it's the only Michael so far

many thanks

If that is the Michael i am looking for, Timothy's building return for 1901/1911 might explain why Michael is not obvious on Griffiths Valuation
