Just wondering who was Elizabeth Goodlad Innes born 1878 Watten Caithness.

She appears on the 1881 census with Rachel Innes as granddaughter.
By 1891 she shows as Lizzie Goodlit, niece of Adam Innes and his sister Rachel is also there,  could she be the mother of Elizabeth?.

I just can not figure out or see any birth reference to a Elizabeth Goodlad/Goodlit Innes born 1878.

She does not show in the 1901 census.  Adam has both of his sisters Elizabeth and Rachel living with him and all single.

Hi Suzy,

There is only 1 Elizabeth G Innes showing Watten, Caithness on SP born 1878 EDIT - Typo 1877 in Watten, Caithness.

I tried with a wider window to begin with.

If you feel there are possibly other family members then it would be worth while leaving the forename blank & widening your yr search to include others around that area who may be related.

The index will show 25 names (male & female) using the "both" option under "sex"

If you have access to Anc....y there is a tree with a photo of Elizabeth Goodlet Innes she appears to be the daughter of Elizabeth Innes and father is named as Hugh Goodlet ...I'm afraid she died 13July 1896 week after her daughter Elizabeth Goodlet Mowat was born ..she married Donald Mowat ( information from tree ) ....Always best to check out on Scotland's People
