hi sandra. am looking for a david hogg scott born sept 11th 1907. i have an alexander and catherine in a poll around 1936 in crossloan rd glasgow they have a son david hogg scott and a david hogg scott jnr wanted to know were they went from there and if they are the right family.

What was Catherine's maiden surname?
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Hi ,

On another thread you say their son was David Hogg Scott born 1907.
That birth certificate has the parents as David Hogg Scott and Catherine Hossack  ,  married July 1891.

David Hogg Scott , death 1979 , age 71.
Daniel Hogg Scott , death 1988 , age 83.
Mother's maiden name Hossack.
