Tracing my Gt Grandmother. Mary Convery
« on: Friday 01 July 16 09:25 BST (UK) »
Mary Convery was born Circa 1837. In her marriage cert place of birth is given as Newry. In the 1911 census it is given as Jonesborough Co. Armagh. I have now found her in the England 1891 census where her place of birth is given as what looks like Kelands, Newry Co. Down. I know that Jonesborough and Newry while in different counties are very close to each other. I have looked at parishes & townlands in both counties but can not find Kelands. I have attached the line from the census just in case I'm not reading it correctly. can anyone help?

I've been staring at this for a week & never once saw the first word as Ireland. Now that you have pointed it out Aghadowey its so clear I don't know how I missed it. Thank you.
