« on: Saturday 02 July 16 23:05 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I am looking for my x3 Great Grandfather Francis Cassidy marriage certificate. He was born about 1833 died 1906 and his wife's name is Catherine Dossey. I know they had a son Patrick born about 1861. A roots chat member found his death index but I haven't managed to find anything else.

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Thanks, this is interesting. It has been mentioned that he could have had another marriage so I wonder if this is his second wife and Catherine died when Patrick was very young so possibily she is his mother as that is what is written on his death cert.

Hi,
I checked your info. Catherine was Doorly, I found it on Patrick's Baptism record.
Bridget was Bridget Murphy.

Yes, the date
27th May 1857 this is Patricks Baptism.
Just says Longford, address not recorded.
3 x children born to Bridget Murphy, this was recorded as Drumlish, County Longford.
