Can anyone help me to trace the death record of Peter E. Roberts born 1942 in Rugby Warwicks England.  It's believed that Peter, an old College friend of mine, died in a road accident in Canada in about 1975?
Pemberton, Berrisford, Jackson, Brammall, Hodkinson, Stanley, O'Malley.Davies.

Unfortunately Canada does not have a BMD index and quite strict privacy laws.  It would help if you knew which part of Canada your friend was in.

Thankyou for your speedy reply.  Peter and his wife Maureen were living in about 1970 in Calgary, Alberta.  I have the exact address they lived in in an old address book of mine.

Have found on Ancestry Voters list Peter E Roberts and Maureen living at 120-38 Ave SE Calgary in 1968 do not see them after that time but the Voters lists are sort of hit and miss. Looks like they were teachers. No luck with a obit search but did check with the cemeteries that the City of Calgary looks after and nothing for Peter. Could you post the last address you have for them in Calgary. Will keep looking. Calgary Public Library is doing a directory search for Peter after 1968 . There is also a possibility that Maureen moved away after Peter passed.

Thanks so much lilybell-very helpful.  I've pm'd you that address as Canada says privacy laws are strong..and so I'm being cautious in some respects about that.
Very pleased the Library in Calgary are on the trail as much as they're able.  If you've any email address there that you think is useful for me to use please forward.
Thanks again-very helpful..and yes Peter was a teacher-Maureen too I think-I knew her less well.

Thank you for the thread link.  I have got an entry about Peter Roberts on the Warwickshire Board. Peter came from Rugby.
