Hi, Would anyone be able to take a photo from a gravestone at Witton Cemetery. i have the grave and plot number, also a map to locate it.

Hi Karen,

If you have not already got your photo, I may be able to help given the details. Witton Cemetery is massive so the plot and section numbers would be a help. Also, many older headstones have fallen over and if not, they can be hard if not impossible to read, but I`ll try if you still want it.

Have you been able to establish with the cemetery whether a headstone exits?

They might be able to say so from their records.

I have found out some of my husbands ancestors at there at Witton Cemetery too.
But have no idea of plots or anything.

Would love photos etc and information of them as we are in New Zealand

As mentioned earlier,Witton cemetery covers hundreds of acres, so without some idea where the grave is situated it would be pretty well impossible to find.
I remember around 20 years ago searching with my uncle for family graves. 2 Brummies, looking for Brummie family.
By chance, we found one we weren't looking for.
