There is also a baptism at a Wesleyan Chapel for Annie Vera Windle, mother Emily.
Born December 1907 and baptised August 1908 - address 65 Kilner Bank.

That would make 4 children born to Emily  :-\

I think Nellie is still alive though in 1911.

We know of Harry and Annie .... not a Nellie though !!

Apparently Harry dis-owned his mother when he discovered ( what had gone on) whatever that was !, he married a Sarah and mum can remember going to visit them in Almondbury with her mum (born Margaret Holliday) not very often but now and again.
My dad died six weeks ago and it is the first chance in years i have had to grill (re family history) my mum and goodness we are enjoying it.
Hephzibah brough up my grandma too.

It is frazzling my brain there are clearly lies involved

Poor Lucy's death (windle) may hold some answers

Would an inquest taken place ?

Thank you all
Tracey & My Mum

Hi

The address seem off. Learoyd's Row I am assuming is Learoyd's Yard and later Learoyd's Street which is where Phoenix Mill is but there was also a Learoyd's Yard up by Bradford Road which isn't too far away and it was in the St. Andrew's area.
St. Andrew's & St. Mark's  were next to each other and the congregation over lapped. Kilner Bank over looks the two churches but it is at the other side of the river and it is in the Kirkheaton Parish and not the Huddersfield Parish and it would be a 2 mile walk to the churches.
