Edward HEANEY Janet HEANEY ( maiden name PRENTICE)

Hi All

Looking for some help with some family on the tree.

My grandmothers uncle Edward Callaghan Heaney married Janet Prentice in Glasgow and I believe they traveled from the UK out to Canada (Quebec) around 1928 - I don't have any other information except that Edward was born 1899 in Hamilton Lanarkshire. I'm hoping there will be a record of the ship they left on and details of anyone else in their party. Also this might help me with leads to where they set up home in Canada and any family they might have had.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Canada Voters List is showing Janet Heaney and Hugh Heaney (clerk)  at the 57 Princess Street address in 1974 - Edward could have  passed away between 1965 - 1974

Earlier Voters list 1945 shows family living at 65 Princess Street - Edward is a bank clerk and Hugh is clerk - plus Mrs Janet Heaney.

Looking at the 1928 Canada Passenger List - Janet M Heaney (wife)  aged 30 years, Janet M Heaney (daughter) aged 8 years and Hugh Heaney aged 5 years travelled together on the Regina - arriving 13 October 1928 - Greenock to Quebec. Father Edward Heaney c/o Royal Bank Leamington Ontario.  Grandfather Andrew Prentice 9 George Street Burnbank.
