so wonder if William had been previously married and Elizabeth hall daughter age 9 in 1871 was from a previous marriage??

The Mother of Elizabeth Hall, was born Phoebe Clapham in Lincoln in 1828. She Married William in Lincoln in 1858. Phoebe died in Lincoln in 1864. :)

Yes that's right. I saw the same one as that on "Family Search". It must be them, because William's address was down as Chapel Lane on Elizabeth's Birth Registration. Elizabeth obviously hadn't been born when that 1861 Census had been taken. William's Father Joseph Hall, was a Master Tailor. He died in 1858, and his last known address was also Chapel Lane, Lincoln. They must have moved to there from Aubourn, where William was born, haha! Not Notts, where they have put. :) ;)
