help pls with deciphering given name and town
« on: Wednesday 13 July 16 19:00 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I am trying to narrow down the possible parents of James Murray born 1828-1832 in Cloyne Diocese, Co. Cork.  The attached entry from Cloyne Diocese, Churchtown, Kiltskin dated 13 Jan 1828 is one possibility.  Can anyone help with the given name of the Kenefick woman? Looks like Jony but that seems odd.  Also the abbreviation for the town- M.Town is a little puzzling.  Would appreciate any help.  Thank you.  Ruth

Working through the Civil Parishes in that RC parish I only see one place starting with M and ending with town.
Maytown.
