My mother was Margaret Heaney, unfortunately died at 63 from Ovarian Cancer. Wonderful woman. I have a sister Laurel, now 70, with Alziehmers disease. We both have two children each, myself two girls, four grandchildren. My sister boy and girl, four grandchildren. My mother grew up in Belmont NSW and once married lived in Redhead NSW for the rest of her life.

Hi Paul, having trouble finding how to reply to you personal message. Info on my mother, born 7/3/1924 died 29/7/1987. Dad, William Hetherington born 12/11/1922 died 21/10/2014.  Myself Diane Gail C, born 1940's, sister Laurel Ann R born 1940's.  Funny reading info on MyHeritage, I always thought Mum had a sister called Rachel who died. I still have a doll that came from Scotland that I thought belonged to her.  Mum's brother Alec played soccer for Australia and is still well known of in the soccer community. There seems to be a lot of Hugh's and Alexander's in the family. Interesting about my grandparents being cousins, I can always remember be told that they both had the same surnames.
