Hi  :)

I asked this question on the wrong board age's ago  ::)

would there be a parish register available which would give me insight to the following marriage,

George Bint to Maria Sanders, Dec qrt, 1847, Bromyard district.

I am stuck on Maria Saunders parents  ??? do not have a clue what they were called  :)

hi there just looked on the 1841 census
Abraham sanders 60/born 1781
maria sanders 50/born 1791
eliza sanders 13/born 1828
all born in Herefordshire bromyard you don't give a age when born or were for her

only Mother mentioned Anne Saunders.

you have got Me in a spin now,

just looked at the information I have on the surname ,

I have her down as Sanders, but someone sent Me her christening details,

 27th Sept 1825 • Clifton On Teme, Worcestershire, England

only Mother mentioned Anne Saunders. and the spelling is Saunders  ??? ???

she married George Bint  , Dec qrt, 1847, Bromyard district. her name is Maria  Sanders on reg.

children that I know of (  but the girls kept changing their names  ::)

Joshua Bint 1851,     Mary Ann Bint 1853

and Marie Bint 1861 but she was registered as Ann Marie Bint  ???

I have the family from 1861 onwards but 1851 and 1841 are just confusing Me .

Could this be Maria in 1851 living at Lower Road, St Clements, Worcester  where Joshua was born in 1851??

Maria Bint    Head Married    27    Gloveress    Herefordshire,
William G    Bint    2 St Clements, Worcester
Mary Hill    Sister Unmarried 18    Dressmaker    Lower Sapey, Worcestershire

Edit - With this Maria's sister listed as Mary Hill - living next door to them in 1851 was a Phebe Hill widow 52 born Cotheridge, Worcestershire and daughter Hannah age 22 b St Johns Worcester ??

Further Edit - If I have time  later this week I will check the Parish Registers in Bromyard for the marriage

Interestingly Bromyard registration district covers Lower Sapey, where Mary hill says she was born, I wonder if the marriage was there.

In 1871 Maria Bint says she was born in Clifton on Teme, two miles from the sapeys
